This grant supports small and mid-sized businesses that raise their in-workplace minimum wage and work on productivity. Unlike a subsidy, there is no cap on application slots — meet the requirements and it goes through.

Grants are made within the budget available.

How the grant works

  • A pay rise is the condition

    Raise the minimum wage inside the workplace by 50 yen or more. The rate and the cap move with the raise and the headcount.

  • Productivity work qualifies

    AI and system adoption, equipment, process consulting, training and education — a wide range of work qualifies.

  • Part of the cost is covered

    Part of what you spend on raising productivity comes back, which lightens the load on the company.
